Do you know how to make a piñata? Neither did I, until I got invited to a piñata making party at ¡Ay Chiwowa! I must admit, I blanked out on ideas of what to build and it was thanks to Billy Dec for pointing out the most perfect and well... obvious choice for our piñata... a shoe! Thanks Billy! But you know it couldn't be just an ordinary shoe. =D Thanks to my awesome piñata building team, we not only created what I think might be the FIRST Christian Louboutin piñata but we took home the win for best one made that night! Woooooot! And what did we win? We won a VIP experience to ¡Ay Chiwowa! for us and a few lucky friends. I am super excited because not only does this place have amaaaaaaaazing guacamole, which I could eat on the daily, they also have yum yum yummmmmmy margaritas! And really what more do you need? Well they do also have a semi private area in the back where sometimes there is a DJ that spins out some fun jams for when that tequila kicks in and your body decides it just HAS to shimmy shake. Temperatures are plummeting in Chicago! Today it was 7 degrees and hard to bear. These are the days that it really blows living in the Windy City. Especially when the wind is what will kill you by hitting subzero temps. GAH! So in honor of Chicago trying to turn me into a popsicle, I shall post my first set of photos from my Miami trip which was only a month ago but feels like 6 months ago. Oh how I miss the sun, the surf, the ocean breeze and the hotel. Oh dear lawd, the hotel. We were lucky enough to be staying at the Fontainebleau in Miami and boy oh boy were we spoiled. From the amazing restaurants and incredible service to the private beach access just steps away from the pool area. It was definitely a trip to remember. I got some much needed relaxation and brought home one glorious tan, which I am happy to say, I still have some remnants of. WOOT! Please excuse the lag on posts as I am nearing busy season at work. Gotta make that cheddar to support my shopping addictions nam sayin'? So please bear with me and I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season!! Let's all hope for a white Christmas and lots of fresh powder for snowbaording!!! Next trip for me will be Park City, Utah babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend and ate lots and lots of yummies! I know I did! Thanksgiving was spent with both our families and included an intense round of Chinese checkers, watching old family videos of the hubby and his brother (lol), and a head start to Black Friday shopping at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago. The weekend definitely whizzed by in a blur and I definitely made the most of it. I did some fun partying with my favorite betches and celebrated one of my besties hitting that dirty thirty mark. Also watched Catching Fire which was amaaaaaaaaaaazing and managed to get totally suckered by the hubby and a Best Buy rep into purchasing a new TV on Black Friday. There are just so many good deals out right now! Which brings me to today...

I find going out shopping on Black Friday is immensely stressful! Hunting for my size and being surrounded by hoards of shoppers while waiting in insane lines just to try on clothes and then waiting in yet another line to checkout is not the funnest experience. The Hubster and I decided to just check out the outlet mall on Thursday at around 11pm and ended up sticking around until 3am and by the end of it, I was deliriously tired and sweating from the stress and lugging around all of our shopping bags. I guess it WAS a good way to burn off some of my dinner. But for me, CYBER MONDAY is where it's at. It's so much more comfortable dressing like a dood. The Hubster already tried to steal this bomber from me. Haha. And I finally found a perfect pair of boyfriend jeans for myself.
