When it gets this hot in Chicago, there's only one strategy... find a trend that allows you to be as naked as possible but still be publicly acceptable. Enter bralettes and muscle tanks. This particular one happens to be my favorite. Not only is it insanely comfortable, but you gotta love the melting CCs. It definitely fit the bill this day because both The Hubster and I were melting in the heat and humidity. And I kind of wanted to be a CC whore so I threw some on my feet and wrist as well. =D
This weekend I finally caught up on much needed sleep and spent a majority of the days lying in bed and watching the entire first season of The Mindy Project. ZOMG! That show is funnyyyyyyyyy. I honestly didn't think I would enjoy it since I never really liked her character on the office. But maaaaaaaaaaaaan, that chick is hilare!!! Her character on the show is very much like a lovable loser but with a sassy crazy side. I definitely recommend you watch it. Preferably on a day you want to be a veggie in bed and use very little brain power. Aside from being a lazy sack, the most notable thing I did this weekend was get KBBQ and go to NRB (Korean Karaoke) with a fun group of peeps. There were probably 15 of us and The Hubster was the only Korean which probably didn't help us at all since I might know more korean words than he does. Hahaha. I think I definitely turned this group on to NRB. Considering we spent 5 hours in there. =D Sooo much fun!
Notable hits of the night? Gangster's Paradise, Barbie Girl, Life Goes On, Irreplaceable... and about a million more.
More notable events of the weekend? I bought my very first midi ring, then lost it two days later. Sigh.
