ready to Rockit!

This particular day was a mish mosh of events.  There were lots-o drinks, good food, good company, old school rap, on stage karaoke, and naughty goodies.

I dragged out Trace Face with me.  She rarely dresses up, or puts on makeup, or curls her hair but she did all that for me.  And she knows she loved it so don't give me any lip about it next time Trace!

After about an hour of immature giggling at the store and more at my place going over our loot, Trace Face, Blog Nazi and I got ready for some rockin' good times at Rockit Wrigleyville!  I was super excited.  Want to know why?

KARAOKE!!!

I knew immediately what I wanted to sing.  I even went on YouTube to look up the video for practice.  Yes I am that hardcore.

Time to start drinkin'!  Those UV vodka cranberries definitely got the party started for me.

They were also passing around these yummies around all night.  Nom Nom Nom.  How many could you throw down?  I was following the server holding these like a lost puppy.

Another yummy treat that was passed around.  Grapes covered in goat cheese.  Drooooool.. I usually don't like goat cheese but these were bomb.  Not the best picture but my dumb butt forgot my memory card for my camera.

I cheered for everyone that had the courage to perform.  Chicago has some impressive karaoke-ists.

And I finally got to take a picture with Mr. Billy Dec.  He's such a social butterfly sometimes it's hard to catch him.  Especially if you are a tiny 5 foot Asian girl.  Actually I'm not even the one that asked for the picture.  Blog Nazi had to do it for me.  Best PR manager ever!  LOL.  Thanks for the pic Billy.  Awesome party!  And congrats to being voted "Best Person to Follow on Twitter" by Chicago Reader.  It totally makes sense.  Billy's tweets will tell you what the fun things to do are in Chicago, let you know where the celebs are hanging out when they are here, and makes you hate your lunch when you see the food tweets he puts up from Rockit Bar and Grill.  I always happen to see those food tweets when I'm eating at work and I just get angry at my lunch.  He can also spit out some pretty legit Tagalog since he's half Filipino.  He's a fellow half-sey like me.  Except he is definitely tanner than me.  My Chinese side took over my coloring.  Drats!
