cirque du so-fab

This past weekend my poppa got us tickets to the Cirque du Soleil Ovo performance in Chicago.  This show revolves around nature and specifically bugs.  It was an incredible show where I spent most of the time going, "Oh my.. how are they doing that?!"  Photos were not allowed but I was a rebel bad-ass and snuck in a couple.  Chicago-ans, you have got to check out the show.  It's trippy and weird and great!

And since I knew I was going to the circus, I put on my most circus-like dress.  I love everything about this dress.  Suspender straps, perfectly executed pick ups in the skirt, light breezy fabric, and best of all, it got me a total of 18 compliments during the day.  The dress is another amazing AllSaints purchase.  They should really pay me to advertise their clothes.  Hahaha.  I told you guys I was obsessed with their store.  It's called the Melody dress and it comes in white, black, or a dusty grey with dark blue pinstripes.  It was really hard to decide on which one to get.  I went with the white so I could pull off wearing it at work during the summer.  If you guys don't click "like outfit" for this dress, you are nuts!  Hehehe...

          

Dress worn with my super old Christian Louboutin Tenue shoes.  I don't really have a lot of chances to wear these since it doesn't match at lot of things but it went really well with the dress no?

Shoot, I got a little stain.  I shouldn't have had that red popsicle from my sister.  =P

I also made a fun purchase today from the new Oliver People's store on Rush Street.  It's totally a welcome addition to Chicago!  I absolutely love Oliver People's.  I've had my Apollonia sunglasses for a couple of years and I still can't bear to replace them.  I went in today to re-try on the Emelita that I saw in their West Hollywood California store.  I love big nerdy glasses so I definitely kept this on my wish list since my trip last month.  What do you guys think?  Hot or not?

No glasses or with glasses... which version of DOS do you prefer?

Isn't my little sis so cute!  I'm jelly because she's taller than me.  =P

But do you want to know what the best thing about these glasses are that I found out about today!?!  They have transition lenses!  So they get dark and turn into sunglasses in the sun!  That's like two looks in one!  I was so excited, I bought them with the quickness.  Don't you love little surprises like that?  I will definitely be rocking these indoors and outdoors this summer.  Double win!
