DRUNK ON SARCA X NIEVES LAVI

Brunch, Fashion, and Bottomless Mimosas... probably the BEST combo ever!  Who do I have to thank for brining all that into my world?  Sarca and Nieves Lavi!  What is Sarca?  Sarca is a fabulous boutique in Chicago which I recently stumbled upon when I was hunting down a beautiful pair of Penelope and Coco wedges, which you will see me rocking as soon as it's warm out and I get myself a long awaited pedicure.  What is Nieves Lavi?  Nieves Lavi is an amazing label from the minds of Sam Nieves Velez and Sharon Lavi.  I had a great time viewing a sampling of their new collection at a gorgeous new restaurant in Chicago, The Boarding House.  It was an intimate setting in their main dining room which made for a perfect place to view the colorful silk and printed fabrics from the Nieves Lavi Spring Summer collection.  So here we go.  Sarca x Nieves Lavi Fashion Show.

How amazing is the ceiling?  Thousands of dark green wine bottles hang suspended and act like a gigantic chandelier.

An amazing apple and greens salad.  The waiter kept trying to take it away from me because I was taking my time and savoring each bite.  Haha.

The show starts and I am instantly engulfed in color and prints.  Made me wish summer was here!

LOVED this one!  The color and detailing is exquisite!

I could not stop drooling over the amazing jewelry from Damen + Division.  How sick is this necklace?!  Ugh.. I NEEEED!

My favorite piece were these adorable shorts.  How perfect are they for a day on the beach?!

Thank you to Sarca and Nieves Lavi for such a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  With spring around the corner, the collection made me want to incorporate a lot more color and prints into my extensive wardrobe.  As I'm writing this, I'm looking at my racks and thinking, why is everything so dark?!  Hahaha.  And I highly recommend stopping into The Boarding House for a meal.  It's so gorgy-pants in there!  Being there during the day with all the natural light pouring in from the giant windows really makes you appreciate the space and the work they put into their decor.  Immediately after walking in, I guarantee you will stare at the over 9,000 wine glass fixture suspended in the air.  The usual reaction is, mouth drops open, "WOW", then out comes your phone, CLICK, and BAM... Instagrammed.  Absolutely amazing venue.  I can't wait to go back and try some more dishes.

DOSE OF THE HOLIDAYS WITH DOS

FALALALA HOLIDAYS!  Had to share these fun pics taken by the fab Glossed and Found team at Dose Market this past weekend.  Once I saw the holiday themed photo area, I was all over it like a little kid hopped up on too many candy canes.  Thanks Glossed and Found for letting me overstay my welcome at your fun booth set up!  I'm going to blame it on the fact that you were right next to the bloody mary table set up.  Hehehe...

Dose Market was so fun mostly because I was with 3 of my favorite ladies!  We had brunch at Savoy right before we headed to Dose Market and it was like a nonstop flow of mimosas.  Definitely set the tone for the rest of the day.

Hello friend.  It's a mimosa photo sesh y'all!  The Savoy has some amazing mimosa creations.  The blood orange was insanely good.  Thank you Gilt City for your awesome food deals!  We did a mimosa brunch for 4 that included up to 10 mimosas PER PERSON.  STFU!  I had brunch here with my darling Laurz the weekend before and made it to 4 mimosas.  This time I got up to 5.  Making my way up in the world guys.  Never give up on your dreams.

I had the shrimp and polenta creation.  Picture says it all.  Don't you want to shove your face in that?

"Look at this instagram!  Eggs Benedict, side of ham." - Full Song HERE! (if you haven't seen this before, you can thank me for making your day 100000x awesomer)

UGH, I love you.

And you... and you!

Time to get DOSED... with DOS.  =)

OoooOOOooh Bitters!  and so I asked.. "What the heck are bitters?"  I learned something new that day then forgot it 30 minutes later.  But it was yummy so yay.

With the fabulous Graham from Glossed and Found.  I was majorly tipzzz and don't remember what I said to him but at least one of those sentences was "Let's take a picture!"  Thank goodness the good part of my brain still works when I'm inebriated.  Winning!

Holy crap!  I want one of these soooooooooooo bad!  Someone get me one!  Gimme gimme!  For those who don't know, I have regular living room dance parties for one at my place.  Having one of these  stereo vintage suitcase thingy majingys will just up my cool points during these dance parties.  It would look so fly in my new closet room.  (tell you about that later!)  If you want one of these awesome creations, contact Artpentry!  Oh, and get me one too!  Mention I sent ya and maybe he'll donate me one.  Shameless plug plug pluuuuuuuuuuuuug!!!  Ugh I want one!

This particular green one was to diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie for!  I was about to make the purchase but sadly some other betch already bought it.  UGH!!  Who are you!?  Watch your back!  Dose Market may not seem like it, but it's also a place of fierce competition of getting the piece that you want.  I had no idea!  Next year I will be coming right when it opens and with brass knuckles.  Best believe it!

Played with water colors.  I quit really quickly and just started to doodle.  =P

Holy effing sugar high!  That's primarily what Dose Market is.  One big ass sugar high.  Caramel drink and marshmallows.  What was I thinking?  I was bouncing off the walls!

Finally snagged that C/Fan Adele Beanie.  Wooopeeee!  Find me on the slopes in Vail with this fab head gear!

My take on Dose Market?  It's an instagrammer's dream.  Lots of cool things to hit up your instafeed with.  (follow me on instagram!  DrunkOnShoes ... hehehe... see what I did there?)  Try not to sample everything or you will have a massive sugar crash later in the day.  Go early or else some betch will snag something you wanted and you will be very bitter about it.  Validate your parking!  Flirt with the guy that checks you in and you might get an extra drink ticket.  WHUUUUUT!  Gracer is a total flirt.  JK that was me.  Ask lots of questions.  I learned a lot about stuff.  Now why can't I remember them? UGH!  Find a photobooth area and just pose your ass off.  Finally, go with a small group of friends!  This is very key because you will roam around and get lost in some random hallway after way too many shots of scotch with fancy bitters in it.  Overall, I had a flippin' blast!  I love you ladies!

"Hey Sue!  Take this picture!  Omg I am sooooooooo CLEVER!"

BAM!  Instagrammed!

Wussup wussuuuuuuuuup!?  Okay I don't have much to say since this is just basically my outfit post for my previous brunch post at Frog N Snail.  The sun was clearly out and beaming that day which automatically draws me to my bright colored closet items.  =)  I hope you enjoy the photos!  And please read up on my brunch post.  Frog N Snail is definitely a worth it food experience.  I'm super smiley and stumbly in these due to a mimosa overdose.  Teeheehee.  I think I want to do a series called Brunch-ventures.  Where I go to brunch spots, drink, eat, and blog.  Sounds like a superb plan!  What do you guys think?  Who wants to be my date?  How many more Sundays of football are there?  I feel like I can get a lot of Sunday brunches in there.
