happy new year!

Mah bad on the lateness!  Happy new year everyone!  Omg it's 2012 already!!  2011 felt like it flew by huh?  2012 is going to be such an amazing year I can tell.  One of my very best friends just got engaged!  So I have that to look forward to aside from all the wonderful weddings I will be taking part in for 2012.  =)  

I spent this New Years Eve celebrating my friend's engagement and also my boo's birthday.  Yup, The Hubster is a NYE baby.  After dinner, we stopped by a friend's NYE party at their restaurant.  I got to wear my metal mesh dress out.  Woot!  I got quite a few compliments on it.  Yay!  =)  I guess the question now is... how do you clean a metal dress?  Hmmmmm... head scratcher.  Here are a few shots with me, my birthday boy, and other oober fun peeps from the last night of 2011.

2011 was such a fun year for me. I met a lot of awesome new people in 2011 and made some close friendships that I will definitely cherish going into 2012. I had some new experiences and went out of my comfort zone and found it very rewarding. I added a lot to my plate and have been more exhausted than I have ever been before but also have felt the happiest that I have ever been before. I took chances and really explored myself as a person and found that you can achieve quite a lot with enough passion and hard work and of course a lot of supporting people behind you. It was the year I started this blog adventure and I'm so glad I did. It really opened up a new world for me and helped me connect with many people. Some complete strangers and others that I haven't talked to in quite some time. I appreciate everyone that has reached out to me just to show some love and share such kind words! I look forward to 2012 and keeping this bad boy going. I thank you all for the support in 2011 and am excited to see it continue in 2012. *Wink Wink*
