FLOWER CHILD AT PRIDE

Greetings!  A quick post for you this Monday.  Kind of #latergram style since this is from the Pride Parade that was a little over a week ago.  I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July weekend!  I had me a 4 day weekend and it was faaaaaaaaaaabulous!  The Hubster was out of town all weekend so I spent it mostly with my second husband... LC.  Hehehe.  So I'd say it was an LdosCdos weekend.  We are also trying really hard to force our dogs to love each other so we had a couple doggie days.  Wrigleyboo is a little punk when it comes to doggies that don't look like him.  Such a brat.  Does this make him racist?  My weekend was filled with doggie play dates, baking myself poolside, trials and trials of macarons, calling police departments, and having firemen in my condo.  Eventful?  Yes indeed.  Unfortunately with my photog out of town this past weekend, I have no pretty pictures to share besides the ones from my phone that I posted on Instagram already.    

I absolutely love the Pride Parade!  It's such a crazy wild party and it keeps getting bigger and bigger.  I love how open everyone is and how they come to support such a large celebration of freedom and love.  It's always so amazing to see the new floats that enter the parade.  It shows how many organizations are starting to show their support for this community.  And you can't beat a party where shirts and pants are pretty much optional.  You definitely get shocked by some of the outfits.  But hey, if you came to judge, then stay your ass home!  Rainbow power!  Will post more Pride photos later this week.  Thanks for stopping by!  MWAH!

FESTIVAL DAYS KICK OFF

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!  I spent mine being the laziest sack o' crud.  Mainly because the weather was gloomy most of the weekend.  Thank goodness for Sunday.  The sun was out which forced me out of the house and off my couch.  The Hubster and I spent the day out in Lakeview and Wrigleyville which was super fun.  We made it out to the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival which I must say was a bit of a disappointment.  I thought it would be much bigger and being a "music festival", assumed it would have more music.  Don't get me wrong, the performances were great but I had thought there would be multiple stages.  It was still fun anyway.  We went to every booth there and looked around and played whatever games there were and grabbed whatever swag was available.  I think I have a pretty legit plastic sunglasses collection going now.  I added an orange Chevrolet one from this day.  It felt good to be out and about with the hubs and day boozin' which we continued over in Wrigleyville area.  I love this type of weather... warm enough to show the legs but cool enough to wear a sweater.  These type of days are so rare here.  =(  So glad we at least had one day.  What did you guys do this past weekend?
