Toms 'Navigator' Sunglasses - $139
Rachel Zoe 'Piper' Boot - $525
Happy Wednesday y'all! Not much to say about this look except.. uh.. awesome. If you've got that nice flat stomach thing going on, let the world see and hate you for it with this crop top and low hanging boyfriend jean. But don't forget your Alexander McQueen shrug in case it gets chilly throughout the day. The crop top and baggy jean combo is such an understated type of sexy that I just love! And did you know that Toms made sunglasses? There are actually a lot of styles that I like from their sunglasses line. The best part? Like they do with their shoes, they do with their sunglasses. They donate a pair of prescription eyeglasses to those in need for every pair of sunglasses sold. Don't you just love that? You get to be stylish AND help the world. The 3.1 Phillip Lim bag has just been catching my attention a lot lately. Every time I look at it, I think, hmmmm... mucho like! And especially in this blue color. I don't think I have this color in my bag collection. Hmmmmm... Also, not to be forgotten, are some awesome boots by Rachel Zoe. I love how she is obsessed with tall heels like I am. I love the color, the height, and the buckles. Delish!
I'm off to Texas this weekend for a very special wedding. One of my very best friends is taking the marriage plunge and I am honored to be one of the bridesmaids. Needless to say, there will be a few days break from blogging while I'm gone. Be patient my loves. I've got more photos to share with ya! xoxoxo!

Finally, a Wednesday Wishlist! This is me basically missing California. I love how you can wear a light sweater because it's not too blazing hot but can also wear cut off shorts with the sweater because it's not too cold. That type of weather is very rare in Chicago. So usually if you wear an outfit like this, you are a little weird because it's either usually too hot, or too cold. Sigh. Don't get me wrong. I love Chicago for other reasons, just NOT the weather. Like today for example. The humidity is so gross. You could walk out the door nekkid and still feel like you want to peel off your skin. But enough about the weather. This look is California inspired. Easy, casual, comfortable, and stylish don't you think? FYI, I am adoring this bag.

5. ASOS Cami With Tiers and Double Strap - $44.76
6. Alexander McQueen Studded Leather Clutch - $1395
Happy Wednesday everyone! Sorry for the lateness, AGAIN. Eeeks! I've got to be the worst blogger ever. This week has been incredibly hectic but in a good way. I am going through some changes in my work life and things have been happening fairly quickly so I thank you all for still checking in on the blog. I promise a great outfit post for ya'll near the end of the week! =) So with the coming of warm weather and sunny days, all I think about is color and flowy textures. I saw this skirt and immediately fell in love with the pleating and the vibrant colors and lines. The texture looks so flowy and I can only imagine how great it would look as you walked around with a light summer breeze. The same goes for the bright yellow tank. Just so airy and pretty. Works perfectly to compliment the skirt. The YSL Shoes are a GREAT addition to any shoe collection. The heel is actually on the chunkier side so it would probably be easier to walk in than stilettos. And the ankle strap, which is removable, also adds more stability. And I just could NOT resist incorporating this Alexander McQueen black leather studded bag. With everything so soft and breezy, a zing of hard edge makes the whole outfit interesting. And you can never go wrong with studs. =) The YSL ring has colors that tie all the other pieces together so it completes the look as a welcomed accessory. The scarf is for if it gets just a little chilly throughout the day, which is always a possibility here in Chicago. Always keep a scarf or cardigan handy because you never know where the day will lead you. What do you think of the look?

Acne Ry Angora Blend Sweater - $250
Sorry about the total skip on last week's Wednesday Wishlist! Here's a great one for ya! I adore this AllSaints jacket. It has so many cool design elements. You have got to click the link and check out the back side of this jacket. So yummy. The TEXTILE Elizabeth and James flares are also so great. The frayed hem makes it so casual and free. I've also been itching to get another Alexander McQueen scarf and nothing can beat skulls AND leopard print right?! The Acne sweater is a definite must in every closet. Something so easy to throw on when you don't want to think about your outfit. The L.A.M.B. shoes are perfect for any outfit and definitely can hold it's own in the wow factor. It has just a tad bit of fringe and we all know how I feel about fringe these days. <3 I'm not so good with jewelry and rings just because nothing ever really fits me that well. But I can acknowledge that this Elizabeth and James ring is flippin' awesome! Also loving this portfolio clutch from ASOS. I think I'm definitely going to have to snag this when pay day comes around. Oh wait, that's today! Woot! More outfit posts from NYC to come so keep visiting daily! =)

Happy Valentine's Day to all my readers! XOXOXOXOXOXO! I hope you are all spreading the love today. Even if you are single and may or may not be ready to mingle, spread the love to friends and family because they have been with you through thick and thin and deserve a little TLC. This year is flying by! I can't believe it's Valentine's day already. Well to celebrate Valentine's day, I am putting up an outfit post with a surprise at the end. Hehehehe...
Here I am on the day we landed in NYC which was Friday. The weather was so nice that day. Perfect for a stroll around Rockefeller Center. It felt so good to be in a different city. Definitely needed a mini-getaway. It was perfect because that day it was snowing in Chicago and hitting temperatures in the teens. My dad and I went and had some amazing ramen at Hide Chan Ramen in Midtown East before we ventured around town. I have a total weak spot for ramen. Ever since my favorite ramen spot closed in Illinois, I've been on the hunt for something that could satisfy my ramen craving. Just my luck that I would find it in New York. The ramen at Hide Chan is uh-mazing! I had the one with garlic oil and now that I am back in Chicago, I can't help but think about my next trip to NYC for another bowl of that ramen. Nyummy! If you've got a love affair for ramen, definitely hit up Hide Chan on 52nd between 2nd and 3rd.

I also got to take my Bone & Rattle Wells Boot on it's maiden voyage. =) Don't you just love the fringe and gold metal details?! They are so fun and swish around while I walk. I also wore them to work when I got back from NYC and got tons of compliments in the elevator. Like I said before, us gals love ourselves some comfy boots! I wore these a couple of ways. Over the knee which is how they are made, and also I folded over the top part to create a cuff and it reveals the nice leather inside. You can also scrunch them down once the suede gets softer which I am trying to get them to do by massaging the suede every so often. They have a zipper detail but my teeny feet just slip right in without having to unzip them. So far they are a great change to my worn out Uggs.

And for all you Chicago gals, here's the best part! Bone & Rattle is having a Warehouse Sale! Snag some fabulous boots for this winter season at 50% off! Most of the boots will be priced around $100 or less during this sale. Limited to sizes 4-8. All made with high quality leather and suede and all are comfortable and have slight padding on the insoles. I spent a whole day strolling the streets of NYC in my fabulous 'Wells' boots and to me, that makes one great pair of boots! I hope everyone got to shop the Aritzia holiday sale! Aritzia is one of my favorite stores and every year around Christmas time, I spend a day with my fam bam and shop the sale with my sis. Dear ol' dad takes a seat on one of the four comfy, lush, and upholstered highback chairs and takes a snoozer. We cover him with our coats and put our purses between his legs and get to work. =D We call it "Aritzia Day!" This year marked our 3rd year. A big shout out to all my Aritzia ladies! Thanks for always taking great care of me and my sis and keeping my dad comfy on his chair! I got a few awesome items including one Mackage puffer that was on sale. Woot! I have never really liked puffers just because I feel too... puffed up I guess. LOL. But this one was on sale and had an interesting design twist so I gave it a whirl. I'm still thinking about one leather jacket I passed on. Hmmmmm....
So run, don't walk to your nearest Aritzia store and do some damage. Hehehe...

Just sharing what The Hubster got me for Christmas. Hehehehe..

Like I always say, when in doubt, ask your woman's friends. Bwahahahaha! The Hubster did good this year and asked one of my girlfriends for some advice. And now I have an awesome Alexander McQueen scarf. I love the color! The skulls are definitely more understated in the light gray. Thanks HJ for helping him out. Hahahahaha. I was definitely surprised and laughed my butt off. You are an awesome friend! The DrunkOnShoes shirts, however, were all his idea. It was definitely hilarious. He got me two shirts, a hoodie, and a shirt for himself. So when my dad and sister came over, we all put them on. My dad had on the hoodie, me and my sis in our shirts, and The Hubster in his. It was a pretty hilarious moment with us prancing around our house with our DOS gear. My little DOS v-neck is now my favorite loungin' top. Thanks babe! This made for a pretty funny Christmas 2011. You are the best PR rep ever!

We are a DrunkOnShoes family. LOL! The Hubster wore his all during our family holiday party. Hilare!

We are just so fab! What did everyone else get for Christmas that they were surprised about? Please share!
I will be posting the winner of the Versace for H&M ring sometime this week so if you entered, please keep an eye out! =) I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas filled with love and joy and lots of laughs! I know mine was definitely filled with all of the above! Thank you to my wonderful family and friends for celebrating this Christmas with me!
