Fashion fix! Not much to say except I love this dress! It's got a vintage feel. Circa 1930s but with a modern flare with shorter under lining. This color screams autumn is here! I am definitely welcoming the low 70s high 60s weather we have been having lately. I hope it's not fleeting and sticks around for a little bit before dropping to freezing like it eventually will here in Chicago. Flowy dress season is almost coming to an end around here ladies! Take every opportunity you can to bust yours out and savor each day. This dress pairs so perfectly with my Shoemint shoes. Definitely not a pair I could walk a mile in but don't they look fab!? I love the style and caged detail of this shoe and I'm thinking I should have gotten them in both the colors they came in. Hehehe...
This particular day was sooooooooo beautiful and we took the opportunity to take some shots by the docks off of Fullerton. It won't be long until all these boats will get stored away for winter. It was a great day to soak up some sunshine and watch it set over the buildings that line the lakefront in Lincoln Park. The best part was that the hubs took a little break from football that day to take some shots and enjoy the weather with me. Isn't he the bestest?! Football season is highly frustrating to me. Mostly because I am really not that into football. The action is too short and blunt and it seems like most of the time it's just commercials and big burly men huddling. I just don't get it! And hello, what is up with having football on Sunday, Monday and now Thursday!? Are you trying to slowly kill me?! So if anyone out there needs someone to play with on Sundays, shoot me a tweet! I'm free!
Oh, I would also like to take the time to say hello to all my new Instagram followers! I am a lot better at responding to comments on there so I appreciate you all for following and leaving me little notes. =D I am trying to be much better at responding to comments on here. Just bear with me. Work has been a tad busy since it's state tax returns season right now. #taxgirlproblems I'll be posting more of my NYC trip soon once I get all the photos in one spot. Gah! So much to do!

A. I love your dress.
B. You're totally making me miss Chicago - fall was always beautiful for the 2 weeks we had perfect weather; walking on the lakefront - I'm really jealous right now.
Love the long row of buttons! I only wish it actually extended to the hem!

I see that some of your oufits are the same as Wendyslookbook's, and the photos as well.
nauq96 - i'm gunna take that as a compliment since i love her photos. i don't think mine are near that caliber but thanks! and i also do love her style. i think i still have my own vibe and style (i don't think i've seen her rock shoes as tall as mine) but people seem to think we look very similar which i take as a huge compliment because i think she is gorg! =)
christina - come back to visit! weather is great right now! where did you move to?
joanna - thanks for the comment! i think the buttons had to end to make room for the awesome slit. LOVES IT!
monochrome magpie - are you a size 4.5 or 5? hehehehe.. omg i would love to visit london one day. take me out for some tea and crumpets. =D
shamelessly overdressed - the fit is pretty good on the shoemint shoes. i teeter between a 4.5 to 5 depending on the designer so i am really happy i fit into a 5 on shoemint cuz they don't make 4.5. the service itself is great. you can always opt out for the month and they won't charge you the membership fee. very easy if you remember to do it. give it a whirl! they aren't the most comfortable shoes, i must admit. but boy some of them just look too fab not to get. hahaha.
LC - what are you talking about? you have CL lady dafs! those are even more dangerous! lol
I LOVE YOUR DRESS! *need some inspiration* :)
