Hey y'all! So it's been kind of a while since my last post. My apologies! I've been enjoying my "staycation" and had little time for the blog. It's been fun because my darling Gracey was in town so we played a lot. Also Ash was in town and we spent a day looking at wedding dresses. Probably one of my faaaaaaaaaaavorite things to do. LOL. She's pretty easy going so she let me have her try on all sorts of dresses. I also did a lot of errands that I feel like I never find the time to do. One being shredding a million old documents. I bought a heavy duty and badass shredder and went to town! I don't know why shredding documents gets me so happy. It must be the gratification of just shoving a whole envelope in there without having to open it. I get so much junk mail, it's bonkers! I spent some time home decorating as well. Organizing my closet, moving around my shoes, putting up shelving, things like that. Which definitely takes some time and TLC. I finally put in some photos into my empty frames. Hahahaha... I'm one of those people that have had empty frames on their walls for months. I also went out... a lot. If you follow me on instagram then you already know. LOL. I feel like I've been all over the city this past week and a half.
So a little update on what's going on with me now as I'm sitting here blogging on my lunch break. I am in day 2 of my new jobby job and going through lots of introductions and orientation items and just overall getting to know the company. So far so good! I definitely miss my old team but my new one seems great! I'm still trying to figure out my new commute. It's still in the city but as all city people know, it takes some time to figure out your new route. The Hubster was so sweet and surprised me with a little "congrats on your first day" gift yesterday. A dress from AllSaints which is super cute but big on me so I'll definitely have to get it tailored. He also got me a framed picture of us for my new cubicle. Hahahaha... One thing about me is that I decorate my cubicle like cray! I try to make it feel like a little home. So it was definitely an adorbs and perfect gift. He got two frames, one for me and one for himself and his own cubicle. Isn't that so cute that it makes you wanna barf?! Hehehehehe...
So these photos are actually kind of old. From about a week or so ago. Obviously BEFORE I got my hair touched up. I just didn't have time to go through them and put them up. I think this day was when the hubs and I just went out for a cute little dinner date together. Nothing fancy. I decided to rock my new leather jacket from AllSaints. It takes me a really long time to invest in a leather jacket. Which is probably why I only have two to this day. I really wanted a brown one but I couldn't resist how comfortable this one is. It didn't come in any other colors so I had to go with black. I kinda feel like I'm cheating on my Rick Owens. But I do love how different the two are. My Rick Owens leather is more structured and form fitting while this one is looser and more casual. Definitely easier to just throw on as you walk out the door. Kept it simple with a floral top and flares. Also loving my new clutch. I like the play on texture with the weave and metal. It can hold quite a bit and easy to scrunch in my hand. Perfect for a quick night out and it's at a price that won't break the bank. Gotta love that! Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy the post! Have a great Tuesday everyone!
